THE UN-MELANATED PODCAST
Welcome to UnMelanated, the podcast where authentic voices unravel the unique experiences of Black students and people navigating predominantly white college campuses and communities. UnMelanated originated as a podcast dedicated to showcasing the genuine experiences of Black students as they navigate predominantly white college campuses.
In Season 1, co-hosts Kaylin Oliver and Rameia King boldly shared their reflections from their time at the University of Arkansas, shedding light on the challenges, victories, and daily interactions encountered by Southern Black students in an American PWI setting.
Season 2 of UnMelanated takes a closer look at the Black political experience, exploring a statewide perspective alongside guest host Dr. Dara Gaines.
