AIRIC HUGHES, Ph.D. - CHIEF VISIONAIRI
Airic Hughes is an assistant professor in the Department of History at the University of Arkansas. His research examines environmental segregation in modern urban America. Airic is an 2022-2023 Southeastern Conference Emerging Scholar.
Airic is an artist, philanthropist and the founder of @Visionairi. Visionairi produces media and events with a mission to promote and preserve black culture. Visionairi engages communities in areas of education, creativity and social justice.
DR. SYNETRA HUGHES - VISIONAIRI BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Dr. Synetra Hughes is a native of West Memphis, Arkansas and graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Hughes specializes in workforce development, diversity and inclusion relations, human resources, leadership development, fundraising, and nonprofit management.
Hughes is currently the Managing Director for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion in the Sam M. Walton College of Business. She also is an adjunct professor in the African and African American Studies department. Hughes founded the Air for Airiel Foundation whose mission is to inspire and empower underrepresented students with exceptional abilities to overcome challenges.
KAYLIN OLIVER - VISIONAIRI PROJECT MANAGER
Kaylin Oliver is originally from Marion, Arkansas and completed her M.A. in Political Science at the University of Arkansas. Kaylin is currently a Ph.D. student in the Higher Education program at the University of Arkansas. Kaylin has future plans to work for the Civil Rights division of the U.S. State Department. Kaylin is a pillar of hope for students that look like her! Kaylin joined the Visionairi Internship Program in summer 2020, and now supports the team as Project Manager.
