Academic & Community Forum/Conference Speaker

Airic Hughes is a Ph.D. candidate in History at the University of Arkansas, and a Southern Regional Education Board Dissertation Award Fellow. His research examines uneven urban development in America through the lens of black geographies in Little Rock, Arkansas. Airic has delivered powerful lectures on numerous historical and contemporary topics including Mass Incarceration, the KKK legacy of Arkansas’ state flag, and the Resegregation of Little Rock.
